About Chelsea Scott.
Chelsea Scott is a New Jersey native taking the world by storm. Chelsea is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at The Wharton School and a Master of Science in Education at The University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. Chelsea is a Joseph Wharton Fellow, a merit-based scholarship awarded to students with outstanding records of academic, personal, and professional achievement, and a Nonprofit Board Fellow, allowing her to engage with the Philadelphia community as a Board Member of the Philadelphia Ballet. Furthermore, Chelsea is co-president of Storytellers, Wharton’s largest student-led club that seeks to give every student the chance to tell stories that engage, inspire, and build community.
Previously, Chelsea spent four years as a Strategy Consultant at Deloitte in New York City. At Deloitte, Chelsea worked in the Technology, Hospitality, and Higher Education industries, strategizing with leaders of Fortune 500 companies to maximize efficiency and innovation in business processes. Beyond client work, Chelsea contributed to Deloitte’s work in Diversity & Inclusion (D&I), serving as a regional lead on the firm’s National D&I Taskforce.
Chelsea’s visionary leadership, coupled with her attention to detail and “can do” attitude, allow her to develop and execute on cutting-edge strategies in her professional and personal endeavors. She is the founder of several passion projects: Sunday Stories and The Seeds of Sisterhood. Chelsea is also the founder of Read Between the Wine (2018-2023), a community of 600+ Black women in New York City and Washington DC that connected through wine, travel, bespoke events, and literature written by Black women authors.
Chelsea is a 2018 graduate of Duke University. During her time at Duke, Chelsea participated in the Duke-Spelman Exchange Program, allowing her to study at Spelman College in Fall 2016. Chelsea is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
In her free time, Chelsea can be found catching the beat at Soulcycle, playing with her sheepadoodle puppy, Penny, or mastering the art of the weekend trip.
